We went berry picking with Celeste and Ouma & Oupa. This was something that Etienne really could not take part in, but he was very interested in what everybody was doing. I carried him around and showed him the berries but there was no tasting for him, no berries before 1 year !!

After the berry picking we stopped at the local golf course for lunch. It really is a beautiful course looking out over the lake. Just below the patio was the putting green and Cezanne and Etienne just had to check it out and we got a couple of really nice photos of the kids playing on the green.

Our vacation started with a few bumps thanks to Delta. We will never fly Delta EVER again… Once we made it all the way up to Lac La Biche, Alberta, Canada we had a great time. Etienne and his aunt Celeste took this bike for a ride on their patio. Etienne is a real boy, he took to it right away, spreading his legs wide enough to not get his toes in the way of the back wheels, something that took Cezanne a long time to get right.

Finally, after a week of cold and rainy weather the weekend did offer a little better option for playing outside. It was Gavin’s birthday on Sunday, but with us returning home, and Gavin leaving for a business meeting, we had a party on Saturday but the day actually started a lot earlier with everybody but Etienne and Mommy going to the Folsom City Easter Egg Hunt.

After almost 3 years of promises we finally made it to California and to visit Gavin & Christina. Ever since they came to visit us way back when both Cezanne and Aiden were still in infant car seats we had been saying we needed to get out to visit them, but with one and then two kids it was a challenge. We decided that Cezanne’s spring break was the perfect time to do something about this !

When I went through the photos for Day 6 I did not find any of Etienne, what a shock, so lets move on to Day 7, or last day in the Magical Kingdom, which we spent at Epcot.

First a swim - we had not had any really hot weather but our last morning was good enough to try a swim. Etienne did enjoy the water for a little bit but it was by no means warm. He got cold and so his Mommy came to get him.

Then we headed off to lunch with the Princesses where Etienne slept through it all, even the photos with the Princesses. He ended up collecting 2 of his own “autographs”.

Day 5 - Hollywood Studios.

Cezanne decided that UP was her favorite movie despite the fact that she has never even seen the movie. When we saw the characters from UP we just had to wait in line to take photos with them and by we I mean Etienne and I. Etienne was so relaxed and I think he just enjoyed being in my arms rather than in his stroller. After photos with the cast from UP we took a picture with Frozone from The Incredibles.
