Easter Egg Hunt 2011

Look how smart we are dressed up for Easter. A shirt and pants like a real little grown-up.
Bubbles are wonderful and Etienne loves them, he now says the word bubble as if it were a questioning word, “Bubble ?” ( As is you are going to put on some bubbles for me now right ? )
It did not take Etienne long to figure out what an egg hunt was and once he knew he had to collect the colorful eggs and bring them back to Mama he was off and running. He was so busy and so much fun to watch and photograph, I almost missed Cezanne completely !
Once the eggs had all been harvested, Etienne showed me how brave he was and just how good he was at sliding down the big slide. He really has no fear when it comes to things like this…

Easter Bunny Photo

Lanelle took the kids to the mall one day and just happened to meet the Easter Bunny while doing some shopping. Cezanne posed for me last year with the bunny at the egg hunt in Sacramento, so we just had to have one of the 2 kids for this year. As you can see Etienne was not so sure and after some bribery he did sit, but only just long enough, he was already making a dash for it when the photo was snapped.

Really Spring?

The start of Spring and the kids just have to be outside. Etienne now able to really get into a serious session at the sand and water table. Just look at the concentration on his face !
The garden is full of things to discover, one of those things is what play sand tastes like. These photos are the “before”, the “it tastes like…” and the “rinse my mouth !”
Etienne built up a good measure or courage ( fearlessness ) during the winter and now has no issue climbing up and sliding down all by himself !

Another T-Shirt & Gymnastics Party

After rest time Cezanne had been invited to a party at the Gym. Etienne was welcome to join in and he did. Here he gave us his best attempt at the bars.
