Christmas Photo Shoot

Michigan Avenue Christmas Lights

I wonder if this was Etienne’s first trip into Chicago ?? Will have to check the blog history. We took the kids downtown to see the lighting parade down Michigan avenue and while it was so cold, they all loved it !

So Helpful !

Etienne is a very helpful little boy. Anything you might be busy with is of interest to him and if there are any tools or utensils involved he is very keen to get his hands on one and help out. Here he is helping make pancake batter for dinner. Eventually he had to be distracted with a pot of noodles just so that I could finish baking the pancakes…

My Girl, Megan

Etienne and his girl friend Megan. She may be older and a little bit taller but Etienne wins when it comes to weight comparisons. Here the cute couple share a drink and a snack in the kitchen during a recent visit.

Etienne stands and walks !

This weekend Etienne mastered the skill of getting up on his feet from a seated position with out help from either of us or a near by support. Now if he does hold your had while walking the walk is more of a run. I am sure that before long walking will be replaced by just running ! Oh happy day…

Drummer Chef

The only way to keep Etienne busy and happy in the kitchen is to give him a set of pots and some spoons and let him pretend to be a chef or a drummer or both.
