Lanelle put Etienne down on the floor in our room while she got dressed and within a few minutes Etienne had managed to wiggle himself in under our bed. She called me to come and see and of course Cezanne thought this was very funny and just had to be in the photos with her wiggly baby brother.

With the days warming up and the sun finally showing itself after months of clouds we decided to spend some time at the Arboretum again. This was Etienne’s first visit ( I think ) and while he still could not really take part, he did watch his big sister run around !

Etienne now has 2 teeth - both front bottom teeth are now fully visible…

He does not seem to be as bad as Cezanne was ( she would throw up for 2 or 3 days before cutting a tooth ). We just hope this continues…

Etienne enjoys sucking fruit. We cut up some harder juicy fruits like pear and apple and put it in a little mesh bag that he gnaws on - he really does a good job of reducing the fruit to almost nothing and gets the most out of it by smearing the rest all over his face.

Hey ! It has been a while, but here are the updates…

Etienne is getting bigger and stronger and can (if he wants to) hold his own bottle. He seems to be slowly moving away from breast feeding and is really enjoying his “solid” food.

Home again !

Monday evening at dinner we discovered that Etienne had cut his first tooth, front bottom left showing through the gum.

Finally, after a week of cold and rainy weather the weekend did offer a little better option for playing outside. It was Gavin’s birthday on Sunday, but with us returning home, and Gavin leaving for a business meeting, we had a party on Saturday but the day actually started a lot earlier with everybody but Etienne and Mommy going to the Folsom City Easter Egg Hunt.

With rainy weather most of the week - there was not much chance for outside play so Etienne spent a lot of time sitting - his newest skill - on the living room floor while the other kids ran around inside.
