I wanted to see if Etienne would be able to sit in the Bumbo. He is so big and strong that I figured he may actually like it more than sitting in his kick chair or swing. Well he barely fits in the Bumbo, his fat little legs are just too “round”. We also tried him in the exersaucer which he did seem to enjoy for a few minutes. His greatest delight though is his sister. His face just lights up when ever she is near and he watches her like a hawk. I can already see all the mischief these two will get up to in a few years…

Etienne’s first Christmas at home.

He got his own “Noddy” made by Granny using a pattern we tracked down online and through “connections”. The pattern was older than both Mom & Dad. Etienne also got a wonderful wooden toy for his stroller / swing from his Uncle Brett - thanks…

When I went through the photos for Day 6 I did not find any of Etienne, what a shock, so lets move on to Day 7, or last day in the Magical Kingdom, which we spent at Epcot.

First a swim - we had not had any really hot weather but our last morning was good enough to try a swim. Etienne did enjoy the water for a little bit but it was by no means warm. He got cold and so his Mommy came to get him.

Then we headed off to lunch with the Princesses where Etienne slept through it all, even the photos with the Princesses. He ended up collecting 2 of his own “autographs”.

Day 5 - Hollywood Studios.

Cezanne decided that UP was her favorite movie despite the fact that she has never even seen the movie. When we saw the characters from UP we just had to wait in line to take photos with them and by we I mean Etienne and I. Etienne was so relaxed and I think he just enjoyed being in my arms rather than in his stroller. After photos with the cast from UP we took a picture with Frozone from The Incredibles.

Our little guy had made it through the first 2 days and we were very proud of how well he had done. We was sleeping in our room with the light on and was not bothered by us after we put him down. His sister enjoyed the time she got to spend with him this morning. In his big boy stroller he was able to take a nap when all the magic just got to be too much. Eventually he put on his happy face for the photo with Santa.

This really seems unfair, Cezanne gets a page full of photos and our poor little guy gets just a couple. I suppose you can only take so many photos of a sleeping baby or a baby in a stroller… Etienne did very well, all things considered. Keep in mind Florida state law requires strollers to be folded up to get on any bus, train or ride of any kind so if he was asleep it meant he had to be taken out and carried while the other parent got the pleasure of carrying the stroller, bags and in some cases the other child…
